Becky Ferigo is a solicitor in our commercial law team. She graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017. Becky comes from a family and general law background, with specific experience in litigation.
Returning from maternity leave, Becky sought a new challenge and decided on the move to AWS Legal to work on more varied and complex cases that a large firm like AWS Legal can provide. She decided to shift into corporate law because of the innovative and pragmatic approach needed. Having a rural background, she enjoys that a lot of the commercial law clients at AWS have rural aspects she can apply her knowledge base to.
Outside of work, being based in the beautiful Catlins, Becky regularly enjoys hunting, fishing, diving and tramping. She has an adventure multisport background, having competed in both Godzone and Goldrush in the past. Becky is also a founding trustee of a community-based charitable trust set up to provide an early learning centre to Owaka.
