What a Night! New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards 2024

We enjoy supporting those who support us and it’s no secret that as a Southland & Otago based firm, we have a large rural client base.

Each year we are happy to support the New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards and this year has been no different.

On Wednesday 27 March, the New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards Dinner took place with the Ascot hosting some of the best and brightest of the Dairy Industry for the Southland & Otago competition.

Our sponsorship this year involved presenting the AWS Legal People & Leadership Award in the Dairy Manager of the Year category. The a prize being $2,000 worth of legal services offered to the winner.

This was taken home by Regan Smith of Waikaka, and was presented by our very own Toni Green, Partner of our Rural team.

Regan didn’t stop there though! He also took home the awards for Fonterra Dairy Management and the overall 2024 Dairy Manager of the Year Southland & Otago Runner-Up.

Congratulations to Regan and his team for the great job they are doing. And a massive well done to all those involved with organising and volunteering their time and expertise to the Awards each year. We look forward to the National competition, taking place in Queenstown in May.
