International Women’s day

Kia Ora ,

I was reminded by my 23 year old son this morning that today is International Women’s Day. One of the focuses is a reminder of the progress towards gender equality – a topic that comes up often in many areas of life and business as well as raising awareness about women’s rights.

Here at AWS we pride ourselves on equality and this is highlighted in this article

https://www.lawfuel.com/the-2023-lawfuel-gender-survey-of-new-zealand-law-firms/

Our AWS Legal sits in 4th place for surveyed Law firms in New Zealand in terms of the percentage of women partners in the major law firms in the Country  (42%).

Of course the partners can’t operate without our dedicated professional staff and support staff so it is a team effort which we acknowledge and appreciate.
