Last Friday Went to the Dogs!  K9 Medical Detection NZ to be specific!

Helen Copeland brought us all together with her strength and resilience to raise awareness and very important funds for this amazing group, K9 Medical Detection NZ.

Helen decided to shave her hair off and what valuable hair it must be with raking in over 3x her goal netting $3,192.40 so far to date.

Aaron Drake also put his hair on the line, taking the opportunity to experiment with a Mr T style for the holidays and Shauna Nicol showed her support by “purchasing” the rights to the first cut!

A big thank you to Linda Howard, Helen’s hair dresser and cousin, who made sure the big chop was done correctly! And the Tania at Pink Cheeks Beauty Therapy who kindly donated a $100.00 voucher that was auctioned off to the crowd too!

We could not be more proud of Helen and what she has accomplished.  We wish her all the best with her journey as she undergoes chemotherapy over the next weeks.

If you would like to find out more about K9 Medical Detection NZ and what they do, or would like to show your support, please check out their website by clicking on the photo opposite of the beautiful Frieda.
