Jono Cole has joined the AWS Legal Queenstown team, as a corporate and commercial law specialist.  Jono grew up in Queenstown before attending Otago University. He then worked in Wellington for a decade, before returning to the South with his young family.

Jono Cole has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. His expertise is in company law, commercial property, mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, commercial insolvency and debt-recovery. Not a stranger to the courtroom, Jono has acted for clients in the District Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal, and is skilled in dispute resolution.

Jono Cole has worked with both small and large businesses around New Zealand, as well as local and central Government agencies.  He has worked with many industries including hospitality, tourism, property, and professional services. Jono is committed to fostering strong relationships with his clients so that you can rely on him to be a trusted advisor for your legal needs.

Outside of work, Jono can be found in the outdoors – trail running, snowboarding, swimming, chasing his dog Lola around, or hanging out with his young family.

If you are looking for a commercial lawyer, regulatory advice or have a corporate dispute, then contact Jono and the AWS Legal team today.
