Hannah Ohlman is a solicitor in our Rural team. Hannah graduated from the University of Canterbury with a double degree in Law and Arts, and has since pursued a career in the legal field.
After spending two years in Canada with her husband, Hannah returned to New Zealand in 2021 and took up a position as the head of Human Resources at a Christchurch-based company. In 2023, Hannah moved to Invercargill and joined the team at AWS Legal.
Hannah’s upbringing on a farm in Canterbury has given her a unique perspective on the rural sector, which she brings to her work as a solicitor . She has a knack for finding creative solutions to complex legal problems and is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
When asked why she decided to become a lawyer, Hannah explained that she has always been fascinated by the way that the law affects every aspect of our lives. She is passionate about using her legal expertise to make a positive difference in the world and is dedicated to helping her clients navigate the often complex and confusing legal system.
As a new arrival in Southland, Hannah has been busy exploring the region and discovering all that it has to offer. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and discovering new places to explore. Hannah is excited to be a part of the AWS Legal team and is committed to providing her clients with the highest level of service and support.
