We know legal advice is only as good as the relationship management and service that underpin it. We aim to keep you informed every step of the way and deliver on our undertakings.

Starting as we mean to go on

 AWS Legal caters for a wide range of clients, each with differing needs and priorities. We don’t want to assume what you want and need, we want to know.

So, to ensure our relationship gets off on the right foot – and stays there – we ask potential clients to outline their general requirements and expectations. In short, what’s important to you in terms of how we deliver. We’ll put tailored service targets, encompassing those requirements, on paper, so you can be confident from the outset we’re on your wavelength. As part of our commitment, we offer complimentary relationship reviews every three months for the first year, then annually.

Our fees

Depending on the nature of the legal work, each project is assigned to the most appropriate team and/or specialist. To ensure cost-effectiveness, work is conducted personally by senior lawyers when warranted and referred to staff solicitors in other cases. However, all files are continually monitored by the lead Partner, as part of our commitment to quality control, value for money and timeliness.


Conflicts of interest

Within large legal firms, conflicts of interest can arise. AWS Legal undertakes to address any suspected or confirmed conflict immediately. Where the conflict requires both clients to take advice elsewhere, we can facilitate this.


At AWS Legal our robust client management philosophies are aimed at preventing problems before they occur.

We urge clients who have any concerns to raise it with one of the firm’s partners as soon as possible. If needs be, the issue can be referred to our internal Complaints Committee, where two partners – uninvolved in your file – consider the matter and report back to you directly.


Through the Lawlink® Group, AWS Legal holds full professional indemnity insurance cover. We also have e-insurance cover. We have been able to arrange this cover due to the quality of robust internal systems and controls, both within our firm and throughout the Lawlink® Group.
