Libby Haywood first joined AWS Legal as a summer law clerk in 2024/25, returned for a winter clerkship, and loved the experience so much she couldn’t resist coming back full-time. A graduate of the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws, Libby brings energy, organisation, and a genuine love of working with people to her role.
She enjoys helping clients with real-life issues and values the hands-on experience and supportive team environment at AWS Legal. Growing up in Southland, Libby has always known AWS Legal as a trusted name, and she’s proud to now be part of that tradition.
Outside of the office, Libby competes in sport aerobics and coaches athletes, channelling the same enthusiasm and commitment she brings to her legal career.
